Clustering activities
Zeropollution4water
The ZeroPollution4Water cluster is an initiative that comes from the collaboration of seven distinct projects funded through two calls in the Horizon Europe 2022 program. The goals of this initiative are to:
– Prevent groundwater contamination and safeguard its quality against the detrimental effects of global and climate change.
– Ensure drinking water quality by protecting water sources from pollution, offering innovative monitoring and treatment solutions, and guaranteeing the safe distribution of drinking water.
ICT4Water
The ICT4Water cluster serves as a central hub for EU-funded research and innovation projects focusing on the application of ICT in water management. Presently, the cluster boasts over 60 member projects.
ICT and water efficiency represent critical policy considerations with significant potential to expand into new research areas. This includes the development of decision support systems for measuring water quality and quantity, as well as for streamlining recycling and water reuse processes.
The ICT4Water cluster brings projects together supporting them to:
- exchange information and best practices
- disseminate and exploit project outputs
- contribute to defining digital water strategies
- contribute to policy development in digital and water domain
